White guavas have a faintly sweet and tart flavor and somewhat crunchy texture. The seeds found within the Thai Guava are edible and safe to eat.

When/ How to Eat: White Guava is typically eaten unripe, however, you can determine the ripeness by gently applying pressure on the skin, the softer the more it has ripened. You can also determine ripeness by the faintly sweet aroma that the guavas exudes. You can cut the guava into wedges using a kitchen knife or you can simply bite into the fruit and enjoy! 

Where it Grows: White Guava is native to Thailand and can grow in USDA zones 9 through 11. White Guavas thrive best when planted in warm tropical climates.
